Using PGP for email encryption? Empty
PostSubject: Using PGP for email encryption?   Using PGP for email encryption? Icon_minitimeSat Aug 13, 2011 4:58 am

Installed the trial versions of 10.x on two machines - vista and xp, sp3. Goal is email encryption on individual client machines. When I was going through the setup, it was trying to talk to the PGP Gobal directory - but failed for both the machines. Couldn't figure out the reason. Then went to the global directory directly and uploaded the public keys. Once done, tried to send encrypted emails again ... but failed again because, I believe, my email client is still not talking to the global directory. I am not sure if it has to do any FW port and what port it uses.
Then I manually exchanged the publik keys between the two machines. The PGP is still not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
