Which is your favourite among these three? Portsmouth, Bournemouth or Southampton? For sea views, relaxation?

Bournemouth is far and away the best. It has beautiful sandy beaches with views towards the Needles and Old Harry Rocks. It's geared up for relaxation.

Southampton is a port. Yiou can see lots of shipping. There are no real beaches. It has reasonable shopping. It's not a place to relax.

Portsmouth has The Historic Dockyard and the Spinnaker Tower. It's not a place to relax either. It also has Southsea (shingle beaches looking across the Solent to Ryde) but it's not a pretty city.
