noise cancelling headphones/ ear plugs?

noise cancelling headphones/ ear plugs?
I want them so that when I'm studying in my room I can block out all the loud noise my family members make, e.g. TV and radio on, kettle, cooker, etc. It's so hard to study with all the noise and the teachers are constantly telling us to make your study environment like the exam one - except it's quite in exams.
